The Longines GrandeVitesse range has its design roots firmly in the history of Longines’ sporting pedigree. The GrandeVitesse range – French for ‘high speed’ – is named as it is designed; to honour the fastest sporting achievements of recorded history and to be worn by the modern sportsmen of today.

The GrandeVitesse range all share distinctive features demonstrating the importance of their automotive roots and the need for speed in the design of these watches. The tachymeter, Superluminova luminescent features and the sleek aerodynamic shape are just a few examples of the unique automotive character of this range.

With their functions based in sporting history, the watches in the GrandVitesse range offer water-resistance to 50m, clear and bold numerals on the dials, self-winding mechanical movements providing 46 hours of power reserve and a range of functions such as 30-minute and 12 hour counters.

The watches in this range are elegant in appearance, with their measuring and performance functions discreetly housed in stylish dials and exquisite straps. The range offers dials of varying colours; deep browns, black and silver, whilst the straps are available in brown and black leather and stainless steel.
