The Longines Spirit collection pays homage to the watch making traditions of the 1920s, featuring the characteristic curve of the shaped case partnered with a round dial. The collection channels the pioneering spirit of the watch makers of times gone by, who were inspired to create Longines’ attractive designs and accurate movements from the very beginning of the brand’s history. The dials on the models appear large in relation to their case, adding to the legibility of the face and providing a modern touch. All timepieces include a date function, usually located at the 3 o’clock position.

Watches included in the Longines Spirit range are the Longines Spirit Automatic Ladies watch, the Longines Spirit Automatic Gents watch, and a variation on the gents watch that includes two sub-dials and additional functions of small seconds, positioned at the 3 o’clock marker, and 30 minutes, positioned at the 9 o’clock marker. These models have the date marker positioned at 6 o’clock, which looks attractive and symmetrical when compared to the sub-dials. The highly readable dials come in a colour choice of white and black lacquered, with blue steel or sandblasted, rhodium plated hands painted with SuperLumiNova. This luminescent paint can also be present on the hour markers, adding to the timepiece’s legibility in low light.
