We are official stockists of Cartier watches here at Banks Lyon, which means our customers benefit from 100% authenticity and the manufacturer’s warranty. Your Cartier warranty covers a range of defects, but only if found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault. If this is the case, the watch can be repaired or replaced completely free. As standard, this warranty is 2 years for all Cartier Tank Must models. However, if you register your watch with Cartier Care after purchase, you will benefit from 8 years of warranty.
There are many advantages to extending your warranty, including:
It also includes technical diagnostics and advice, should you need it. This technical diagnostic involves inspections to check precision, amplitude, and water resistance, for example, which makes sure that the watch is working optimally. The registration process is straightforward and will only take a few minutes of your time. Importantly, this registration is entirely free and does not require you to sign up for any additional services or make any payments. It is simply a way to enhance the protection of the watch you already own.
If you are struggling to register your watch or would like more information about the warranty of your timepiece, we are more than happy to help. We work closely with Cartier, and our team are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with this luxury watchmaker.
In short, yes. At Banks Lyon, we offer Cartier watches with 0% finance, which gives you the freedom to pay for your timepiece in monthly instalments. Our flexible and straightforward approach means you can spread the cost of some Cartier watches from six months all the way up to five years. Many customers prefer this option as it means they can start wearing and enjoying their timepieces right away, even if they do not have the funds available to pay for the entire cost upfront.
Our financing options are easy to follow and easy to use due to our finance calculator. Simply select the duration for which you wish to spread the cost, choose your deposit amount (from 10% to 50%), and discover what your monthly instalments will be.
Please note that financing a Cartier timepiece is subject to status and is only available for watches between £500 and £20,000. You must read the financing descriptions on the product page of your chosen timepiece to find out what is available.
Cartier Tank Must watches come in a choice of automatic and quartz movements. Quartz Tank Must watches are powered by a battery, and automatic (or self-winding) timepieces are powered by a spring that is wound through the watch’s movement. While both options have their benefits, if you do not wear an automatic watch for several months, there is a risk that it may be slightly less accurate due to the lack of energy supplies to the timepiece. If you find that your Cartier Tank Must is fast, slow, or has stopped, please book a watch service with our Cartier experts.
Tank Must watches are also available in SolarBeatTM models. When exposed to natural or artificial light, the batteries in these watches recharge. These models are viewed as more durable and environmentally friendly options as the battery can last for around 16 years compared with three years for the traditional quartz movements.
The choice of movement is entirely up to your personal preference, and we are proud to offer a wide range of options so you can choose the best one for yourself.
Launched in 1977, the Cartier Tank Must collection is iconic, elegant, and completely unmistakable. With its streamlined design, it is a subcategory of the Cartier Tank range, offering wearers a sleek alternative to the classic watch collection.
These watches are simple, stripping back the fuss and loud designs so commonplace in modern watchmaking. The first thing to note is that wearers have a choice of classic Roman numerals or a plain watch face, the latter being a popular choice due to its contemporary appeal. Similarly, you can pick up a Cartier Tank Must in a choice of monochromatic colourways (the dial and strap being the same shade) – something new to the luxury brand, making the Must unique.
However, despite the modern elements and stripped-back designs, there are still nods to the original Cartier Tank models that were influenced by the French military’s Renault tanks from WWI. For example, the iconic straight lines and square dial of the Tank are present in each and every Must watch.
