Replicating old coins, the cufflinks are a fond reminder of the brands heritage and have been inspired by the Deakin & Francis family folklore tale of a ferocious pirate attack in which a brave Deakin relative fought off the pirates and saved the day. His heroic actions were rewarded with the granting of the Deakin & Francis crest – a cherished symbol still in use today.

With a striking gold plated finish, these coin cufflinks replicate the treasure the pirates were hunting for and this design features the Royal Britannia. As the female personification of the British Isles, she has been a firm fixture on coins since the 1st century and is the perfect way to represent that Deakin & Francis are proud to be British designers and manufacturers. As with a real coin, the back of the cufflinks have also been considered and feature the commemorative 230 dates and small domed oval spring link fitting.
