Exclusive Watch to Celebrate 55th Year of Porsche

This month sees the 55th anniversary of prestigious manufacturer of luxurious Italian sports cars, Porsche.  What better to celebrate the birthday or such as esteemed brand than have a special, limited edition luxury Swiss watch commissioned to commemorate the occasion.

The Tag Heuer Monaco

Tag Heuer have been appointed with the task of creating a watch in honour of the 55th birthday of Porsche, a task which they have completed with aplomb. The watch in question is the Tag Heuer Monaco which has been reproduced in a limited run of just 55 exclusive timepieces.

It’s only appropriate that Tag Heuer was selected to produce this watch as they have a long history with Porsche.  Steve McQueen, wore an original Tag Heuer Monaco when he performed in the Movie Le Mans. He drew inspiration for this role from his friend Jo Siffert, who was a racing driver for Porsche and just happened to be the first driver to be sponsored by a watchmaker. That watchmaker was of course Tag Heuer. The rest as they say is history.

It’s only natural then that these highly exclusive Tag Heuer watches should be reissued in limited numbers to celebrate the 55th year of Porsche. To complete the racing theme the dial of these watches are decorated in black and red racing stripes, complete with the racing number 55 and an engraved back panel.  You can be certain that these watches are likely to be highly sought after, and will be bought be very quickly, so seize this opportunity to own what is sure to become a truly iconic timepiece.
