Next month the world famous London department store Selfridges will play host to TAG Heuer sponsored Tesla Roadster, a car that is reaching the end of a zero-emission journey around the world. The vehicle will be on display from 16th-19th September as it makes a brief stop on the last leg of it’s 37,000 mile journey to celebrate 150 years of TAG Heuer.

The battery powered Tesla Roadster
The electronic vehicle set off on its epic journey from Geneva in January. After the stop off in London the Tesla Roadster will be on display in Paris briefly before returning to Geneva to complete the journey. So far it's been through a number of major cities around the world including New York, Moscow and Tokyo.
The unique electric car is entirely battery powered, but don’t let that fool you. It has an impressive top speed of 210kmph and is capable of accelerating from zero to 100kmph in under four seconds. It’s also able to travel as far as 340km on a single charge, which just goes to show that being environmentally friendly doesn’t necessarily mean compromising on power and speed.
Visitors to Selfridges will be able to view this impressive vehicle up close during it’s stop in London where it will be exhibited along with an array of Tag Heuer watches, including many iconic and classic models such as the original 1964 Carrera made famous by Steve McQueen in ‘Le Mans’.
