TAG Heuer is a company that is synonymous with luxury Swiss watches and they’re noted for their strong ties with the world of motorsport. Watches produced by TAG Heuer are known for their accurate time keeping and stylish, contemporary designs making their products some of the most sought after Swiss watches.
The company’s association with motorsport is very strong and they are well known for producing models such as the TAG Heuer Formula One, an extremely popular watch, and promoting celebrity endorsements by famed Formula One drivers such as Jensen Button.
Bearing this in mind then the latest decision by TAG Heuer to sign as the ‘Official Watch of England Rugby’ may come as somewhat of a surprise to many.  The RFU issued a statement explain that the “shared values and heritage including a dedication to perfection, pushing oneself to the limit and an undeniable passion for what they do best†make TAG Heuer a perfect sponsor for English rugby.
However, although TAG Heuer are keen to endorse the RFU this does not mean that they’ll be turning their back on the world of motorsports anytime soon. TAG Heuer has maintained strong connections with motor racing for many years now and that is unlikely to change, particularly as many of TAG’s most popular products, notably the TAG Heuer Formula One and TAG Heuer Silverstone draw significant inspiration from the world of motor racing. Additionally TAG Heuer is world renoned for their paternship with F1 team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes and their World Champion driver Lewis Hamilton.
TAG Heuer’s new found relationship with the RFU will simply further the reputation of the brand through association with sporting excellence.
