The limited edition Bremont Supermarine Descent is the latest in the long line of excellent Supermarine watches from the up and coming British watch makers Bremont who have been gaining a presence in the luxury watch market over recent years.

The Supermarine Descent is Another Beautiful Divers' Watch From Bremont
With a design based on the Trip-Tick three piece case construction that is unique to Bremont giving it a water resistance of up to 500m whilst still maintaining the curved profile that is associated with the brand. As with all Bremont watches, the Bremont Descent is made at the Bremont Atelier in Biel-Bienne in Switzerland and houses the BE-36A automatic chronometer movement.
Thanks to extensive research by the company, Bremont has been able to make a new “Anti-Shock†movement mount which is designed to protect the movement of the watch from large shocks. The movement is also housed in an Anti-Magnetic faraday cage which is designed to protect the balance, balance spring and escapement from any magnetising. To improve clarity the bezel has been made out of sapphire which covers the Superlimnova C5 numbers, as with all Bremont watches, both sides of the sapphire will be coated with 9 layers of anti reflective coating.
The Supermarine collection gained its name from the “Supermarine S6B Schneider Trophy Seaplane†which was a plane that is loved by both of the brothers that own the company. The limited edition Bremont Descent watch will be limited to just 407 pieces, as this was the top speed achieved in the S6B that gave the collection its name.
