A Look at our Dietrich 1969 OTC Watches

Our new range of Dietrich 1969 watches is already causing great excitement within Banks Lyon Jewellers, and this intriguing new addition to our horological collection is certainly going to be a breath of fresh air. However, you may have noticed that the new Dietrich range, named ‘Organic Time Companion’, has several versions within its confines (three to be specific), so we thought that we’d now turn our attention to each of these timepieces in turn.

All Dietrich OTC watches benefit from a Japanese Miyota movement that melds both precision timekeeping with the province of affordable luxury, and the hexagonal 46mm casings are also uniformly water resistant to 50 metres. There are many common decorative elements too, such as the presence of an aperture on the dial that allows the movement to be observed, a polished finish that is courtesy of micro-bead blasting, and a choice between a leather band or a Nato Nylon strap, but each is also different to the extent that it takes upon a personality all of its own.

The OTC-AO1

The Dietrich 1969 OTC-AO1 watch is the first Dietrich wristwatch within our range, and is resplendent with a 316L stainless steel and PVD case, along with vibrant green hands and indexes upon the dial. This fresh green hue is fully coated in luminescence, and looks especially suited on an OTC watch due to their subtle nuances of the natural world. The tips of the hands on this watch are already leaf-shaped in form, so the green colouration ideally complements this; especially when arrayed against the decidedly organic backdrop of the ‘X’ shape beneath the hands.

The OTC-A02

Second within our collection is the Dietrich 1969 OTC-AO2 watch, and this powerful timepiece trades the more nature-themed aesthetics of the former version for some bold SuperLuminova red details. This hue is similarly situated on the hands and indexes, and contrasts well with the gold star upon the glare-proof sapphire crystal. This particular OTC watch has also been completely coated in black PVD, so the predominance of polished stainless steel has been replaced by a decidedly darker and more sophisticated style.

The OTC-A03

Last, but by no means least, comes the Dietrich 1969 OTC-A03 watch, and this OTC forgoes the use of PVD completely to create the lightest and most futuristic aesthetic of all. Adeptly blending softer details with a form that could easily have been transported straight from a masterpiece of science fiction, the A03 calls upon bright yellow luminescent hands and indexes to render it just as visible within the dark as its counterparts are. The greater use of stainless steel also lets the detail on the crown shine forth, so it really does comes down to preference as to which OTC is the most desirable.

All of our Dietrich 1969 watches are on sale for £995, but thanks to our 0% finance options you can acquire any of the three variants for 24 monthly payments of £37.31 along with an additional 10% deposit, and you can also tailor the monthly instalments or deposit amounts to your own specifications if you prefer.
