Breitling Watch Winners with The Duke of Westminster & Rodney Banks-Lyon
Banks Lyon Jewellers has teamed up with His Grace, The Duke of Westminster, to raise more than £12,000 for charity at a glamorous clay shooting event.
The Breitling at Banks Lyon Abbeystead Clay Pigeon Shoot saw 23 teams travel to His Grace’s Abbeystead estate near Lancaster, on April 24, to help Banks Lyon raise the staggering sum for the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Organised by Lancaster and London based PR and marketing firm Samuelson Wylie Associates on behalf of Banks Lyon, the third annual event attracted beginner and experienced shots from across the North West. Each team of four was tested against some extremely challenging clays and even had the opportunity to bring down remote controlled aircraft with their shotguns.
After lunch a heated auction saw bids of up to £5,000 made for prizes including a trip in a jet fighter as part of an aerobatic display, courtesy of watch makers Breitling UK; Sunday lunch cooked in the winning bidder’s own home courtesy of the exclusive Hipping Hall near Kirkby Lonsdale; artwork by some of the region’s most notable talents and shooting and fishing experiences...more
