Cartier's Slim Lined Ballon Bleu

The Ballon Bleu de Cartier has long been a favourite of Cartier enthusiast thanks to its iconic style, with an elegantly rounded case and a neither masculine nor feminine sense about it. For 2011, Cartier has produced the Ballon Bleu de Cartier Extra Thin, which is simply a thinner, more lightweight version of the already popular models.

The Ballon Bleu de Cartier is Well Established with Cartier Enthusiasts

The new extra thin incarnation of the Ballon Bleu has been released for 2011 as a way for Cartier to provide an alternative to the usual quite thick models that they provide as a part of the Ballon Bleu collection. The Ballon Bleu collection contains both men’s and women’s watches, as the styling and design of the Ballon Bleu de Cartier is appealing to the eye to both sexes, while not taking either a masculine or feminine look.

The beautiful curves of the Ballon Bleu are not limited solely to the rounded case design; it seems as if the entire watch flows, from the bracelet, to the numerals on the face, right down to the overall pebble shape of the watch. The idea of a pebble shaped watch does not seem comfortable for the wearer, however the Ballon Bleu seemingly floats on the wrist of the wearer and is one of the more comfortable watches that Cartier offer.

The Ballon Bleu is available for both men and women, and is available in three different case sizes for either sex. The watch is also available in 3 different case metals, pink gold, yellow gold and platinum, meaning no matter what your preference for watch metal, there will be one for you.
