Watches and Wonders 2026: Everything You Need to Know

By Maxine

Every April, the watchmaking world comes together in Geneva to unveil the year’s most significant releases. Our team was in attendance at this event on the horological calendar, and I'll be sharing a rundown of the essential moments and notable new watches.

The Releases Defining Watches and Wonders 2026

Cartier: Return of the Roadster

The standout release was the Cartier Roadster, which debuted in the early 2000s and made a big impression with its return at Watches and Wonders. This new version looks even bolder and more masculine. Everyone knows Cartier for their classic watches, but bringing back the Roadster, with its automotive-inspired design and signature curved case, shows how diverse and flexible their designs can be.

The Roadsters come in a mix of finishes and sizes, including medium and large sizes, gold and silver cases, and your choice between bracelets, leather straps or rubber straps for ultimate comfort.

At this stage, my favourite of the lineup is the Steel & Gold variant (W2RD0010); a unisex watch with your choice of sleek bracelet or comfortable leather strap.

TAG Heuer: Chronograph Revolution

TAG Heuer arrived at Watches and Wonders with a focus on the Monaco - one of watchmaking’s most recognisable shapes. The Monaco Chronograph received a new generation, featuring the in-house Calibre TH20-11 movement in a 38mm grade 5 titanium case, available in blue, green and black colourways.

I’m a lover of the Black and Rose Gold Monaco Chronograph (CDW215.FC8360), which uses solid 18K 5N rose gold. I think the introduction of rose gold is unique and unpredictable for the Monaco, giving it a slight softness against the rest of the automotive-inspired design.

The real technical achievement is the Monaco Evergraph, a complete reimagining of the chronograph mechanism. After years of development with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, TAG Heuer introduced the Calibre TH80-00, which replaces traditional levers and springs with flexible ‘bistable’ components created through LIGA technology. This chronograph mechanism uses only one component for start, stop, and reset functions. For wearers, this means a watch with less friction, less wear, and long-lasting reliability.

IWC Schaffhausen: Le Petit Prince and Ingenieurs

The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar IWC-ProSet represents a milestone in modern watchmaking. For the first time, IWC’s perpetual calendar features complete forward and backward adjustability through a single crown position, with a fully gear-based architecture protected by five patents. Available in white ceramic and stainless steel - including special Le Petit Prince editions marking 20 years of partnership with the Saint-Exupéry estate.

The Ingenieur collection received significant attention, celebrating 50 years with new references that explore Gérald Genta's integrated bracelet design. We recently reviewed the Ingenieur Automatic 40 with the Aqua Dial, which can give you more insight if you’re considering adding this model to your (watch) wishlist.

Hublot: Revisiting an Icon

Hublot Big Bang watches have an unmistakable legacy, experimenting with daring combinations, unexpected materials and high-tech components. Watches and Wonders seemed to be all about the anniversary this year, and the Big Bang Reloaded collection seemed to be no exception.

Celebrating over twenty years of the Big Bang, the range includes an All Black ceramic edition marking Hublot’s stealth design concept. Each is powered by the HUB1280 Unico movement, a self-winding flyback chronograph with a column wheel, fully integrated and visible through the skeletonised dial.

To make this collection more accessible, we’re offering Hublot watches on finance with payment plans ranging up to 60 months. Please contact us for details, terms and conditions.
