The IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35 50th Anniversary, Reference IW324909, offers a more compact interpretation of the Gérald Genta-inspired Ingenieur while marking the 50th anniversary of the original Ingenieur SL. Like the 40 mm edition, it is limited to 1,150 pieces and features a brushed silver-plated dial based on a rare historic variation of Reference 1832. The dial is paired with rhodium-plated hands and applied hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova, while the anniversary-specific “50” emblem replaces the familiar lightning bolt beneath the Ingenieur signature. This restrained detail links the watch directly to the 1976 original without altering the clean, architectural character of the modern IWC Ingenieur.

Its stainless steel case measures 35 mm in diameter and just 9.4 mm in height, giving the Ingenieur Automatic 35 50th Anniversary particularly versatile proportions. The characteristic five-screw bezel receives a satin finish with polished edges, while the integrated stainless steel bracelet combines satin-finished surfaces with polished middle links, creating a more pronounced contrast than the fully satin-finished bracelet of the 40 mm model.
