A purposeful aviation watch with an unexpected richness of colour, the Breitling Avenger Automatic 42 Wings Capsule pairs a graduated green lacquered dial with a matching rubber strap. The green grows darker towards the dial's perimeter, a subtle reference to the patina of vintage aircraft that also draws the eye towards the clear, highly legible display. Breitling's winged Wings-and-Anchor logo returns to the dial, while polished rider tabs on the bezel bring a refined contrast to the satinised 42 mm stainless-steel case.
Beneath that distinctive dial is the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 17 automatic movement. Water resistance to 300 metres, Super-LumiNova-coated hands and indexes, and a textured crown and bezel give this watch the resilience and practicality expected of the Avenger family.
