The New Breitling Navitimer 2022 Collection is Here

Breitling News & Releases

The Watches and Wonders 2022 event unveiled a number of new collections from many luxury watch brands across the globe. Not one to be left out, Breitling joined in the fun with a unique launch of their own to mark the 70th Anniversary of their Breitling Navitimer watches.

Unveiled on an airborne journey between The Swiss brand’s capital city of Zurich and the event location Geneva, the launch once again linked this fantastic collection of watches to their intended purpose; to be used to map aviation and help with pilot navigation. The launch event began in the Breitling branded departure lounge, with Breitling CEO Georges Kern giving an introduction to the event, before the guests boarded one of 3 planes to Geneva. When seated, passengers were treated to a history of the Navitimer, drawing on the origins as a pilot’s watch and how it has since become a style icon for many. Once in the air and cruising, the aircrew handed round the new collection, featuring the BO1 Chronograph 43, BO1 Chronograph 46 and the BO1 Chronograph 41, for passengers to try out for themselves.

Taking the Breitling Navitimer to New Heights

With such a unique and unforgettable launch, we should have known the collection would be just as memorable. The collection takes the iconic Navitimer model to new heights, refining the circular side rule, baton indexes, notched bezel and chronograph counters that these watches are known for. There are 13 dial options available from the collection, all inside a 41mm, 43mm or 46mm case and each offering something very unique to the other. Each option is powered by the Caibre BO1 automatic movement, a fully integrated movement that pairs a column wheel with a vertical coupling. This is always in mesh, allowing the central second hand to move without hesitation or wobbling. Visible through an exhibition caseback, the beautiful self-winding movement provides a 70-hour power reserve for the collection and allows the user to change the date – visible through a window in the subdial – at any given moment.

A Choice of Size, Style, Material and Strap

In addition to having the option of a 41mm, 43mm or 46mm caseback, the new Breitling Navitimer 2022 collection features two case materials and a choice of straps. Collectors can choose from either stainless steel or 18-Carat Red Gold for their caseback material and from alligator leather or metal bracelet for their strap. The dial’s feature different colours, including black, blue, green and copper, to choose from. All aspects of the designs complement each other perfectly, and you’ll be hard-pressed to discover a favourite.

We’re proud to offer Breitling watches on finance to anyone looking to add these models to their collections. And today, we’re highlighting some of the new Breitling Navitimer 2022 models that we think you should check out:

Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 46mm in Green Stainless Steel

This model features a stunning green dial and black bezel, which offsets the stainless steel casing and strap beautifully to create a dramatic impact.

The model includes the standard features of the collection, including a 30-metre water resistance and the return of the AOPA wings logo, a feature of some of the earliest Navitimer’s, to the original 12 o’clock positioning.

The Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 46mm in Green Stainless Steel can be yours today from just £7,250, or £108.75 per month with 0% finance.

Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 in Black Stainless Steel with Leather Strap

This 43m version of the Breitling Navitimer BO1 Chronograph simply oozes sophistication. With a matching dial to a leather strap, the stainless steel casing adds an additional splash of colour, and the textured bezel really stands out.

These latest models feature a flattened side rule and domed sapphire crystal, allowing for the illusion of a sleeker profile. We think this 43mm version of the Navitimer would be perfect as a gift for that someone special to mark an anniversary of their own.

The Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 in Black Stainless Steel with Leather Strap is available for just £6,950 or from just £104.25 per month.

Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 in Blue Stainless Steel

This may be the smallest casing size of the new collection, but the 41mm blue stainless steel version of the Breitling Navitimier 2022 is by now means less than the rest of the family. This stunning blue and black dial offer a beautiful piece for any wrist.

This 41mm Breitling Navitimer is more in line with its predecessors, which come in a range of sizes from 35mm to 41mm, so will feel more in line with the size of the previous models.

The Breitling Navitimer BO1 Chronograph 41 with blue dial and stainless steel casing and strap is available for just £7,050 or from as little as £105.75 per month on 0% finance.

Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 46 in Rose Gold with Leather Strap

Our final recommendation is the 46mm Breitling Navitimer 2022 model in 18 carat rose gold. This model is breathtaking, with its rose gold casing completely eye catching against the black side round and alligator leather strap. The dial is an ivory with rose gold features and black subdials which finish off the look perfectly.

This 46mm model will be perfect to show off at a black tie event or while enjoying a bite or two with a loved one. It proudly showcases the classic features of the Breitling Navitimer, while taking on the modern day style captured by this collection.
