Breitling introduces a stealth-inspired take on the Superocean with the new Superocean Automatic 42 UK Edition, limited to just 700 pieces. Combining a striking black-on-black aesthetic with exceptional performance and versatility, this exclusive edition brings a contemporary edge to Breitling’s iconic dive watch.

In the 1960s, as scuba diving grew in popularity, Breitling set out to create a dive watch that prioritised clarity and precision underwater. The result was the Slow Motion, a timepiece defined by clean lines, bold luminescent indexes, squared-off hands and a high-contrast dial ring. Designed for maximum legibility, these distinctive features became signatures of the Superocean collection.

The new Superocean Automatic 42 UK Edition builds on this heritage with a sleek, monochromatic design. A black dial and black ceramic bezel create a stealth-inspired aesthetic, while the matt-finished inner rehaut reduces reflections to enhance legibility. Subtle flashes of sharp green on the Superocean name and seconds hand tip provide a striking contrast, while broad hands and indexes coated in luminescent Super-LumiNova® ensure excellent readability underwater.

Engineered for performance, the watch is water-resistant to 300 metres and built to withstand shock, sand and saltwater. Its unidirectional bezel features a scratch-resistant ceramic inlay, while the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 17 delivers a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.

Available here on a metal bracelet, featuring e a folding clasp with up to 15 mm of micro-adjustment, allowing for a comfortable fit over wetsuits and rash vests.
