Designed by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Cartier Tank has become one of the Maison’s most recognisable watch designs. Its distinctive rectangular case, clean geometry and carefully balanced proportions give the collection its unmistakable character. More than a century after its creation, the Tank continues to evolve through celebrated interpretations including the Tank Cintrée, Tank Chinoise, Tank Américaine and Tank Française.
The Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Mini WJTA0078 offers a refined jewellery interpretation of the original design. Its compact 24 mm x 16.5 mm case is crafted in 18ct white gold (750/1000) and set with 127 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 0.91 carats. The silvered dial is complemented by Cartier’s signature blued-steel sword-shaped hands, while the beaded crown adds a further precious detail.
Powered by a quartz movement, this mini Tank Louis Cartier is protected by mineral crystal and paired with a shiny black alligator leather strap. A white gold 750/1000 ardillon buckle completes the design. With a slim 6.2 mm case thickness and water resistance to 3 bar, approximately 30 metres, it combines elegant proportions with the timeless visual identity of the Cartier Tank.
