Every new watch purchased from Banks Lyon is a brand new piece direct from the manufacturer, complete with an official, Full two/three/four-year international manufacturer's guarantee. This not only confirms the watch's authenticity, but also ensures the item is not a grey import. Imported watches should be avoided at all costs as they are often second hand, have outstanding duty and/or VAT liabilities and may be stolen. Watch manufacturers keep a database of all reported lost and stolen watch case numbers.
