Bremont BOB Spitfire
The Spitfire watch is reliable, precise and durable, so it’s an investment that will last a lifetime and more. The dial design of this chronograph is inspired by the Smiths clock found in the Spitfire aircraft that defended the nation during the Battle of Britain.
The metal dial comes with nickel hands coated with Super-LumiNova® coating, which improves visibility and readability in darker environments.
The closed caseback comes with a stamped top profile of the Supermarine Spitfire, the plane that inspired the watch; this aircraft was one of the most important single-seat fighters in the Second World War.
This stunning watch is based on the specification of the ALT1-ZT model and powered by the modified calibre 13 ¼’’’ BE-54AE automatic chronometer, which has 25 jewels and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. The Spitfire also features a DLC-treated Trip-Tick® case construction with patented inner bi-directional Roto-Click® bezel, as well as a 43mm case.
The watch has a water resistance of up to 100 metres and comes with functions like date at the 4 o’clock position and 24-hour GMT hand.
Bremont BOB Hurricane
This watch was inspired by the clocks that can be found in the Hawker Hurricane aircraft.
The 40mm hardened stainless steel Trip-Tick® case construction ensures the model is durable and sturdy, suitable for everyday use or outdoor adventures. The B-EBE2000 hardening technology used in this piece further ensures that the case is seven times harder and more scratch-resistant than other watches.
To improve the readability of this watch, nine layers of anti-reflective treatment have been applied to the sapphire crystal, which allows for great visibility even in extreme conditions.
The closed caseback has a stamped profile of the Hurricane fighter, a beautiful detail that adds to the charm of the piece.
When it comes to the movement, the watch has a modified calibre 11½’’’ BE-92AQ automatic chronometer, which features 21 jewels and power reserve of up to 38 hours. With functions such as hour, minute and sweeping seconds hands, stop second function and date in the 3 o’clock position, the piece truly has everything you could possibly want in a watch.
Just like the Spitfire, this watch also has a water resistance of up to 100 metres and nickel hands coated with Super-LumiNova® coating.
