Charity Dinner and Auction

At Banks Lyon, we always endeavour to pay attention to the many charitable causes that are being pursued in the world around us, and many of the brand names that we stock, such as Chopard watches, regularly partner with charities to raise funds for various causes. The fate of our armed forces is a primary case in point. In 2010, Sergeant Rick Clement was injured while serving in Afghanistan. As a result of these wounds, Sergeant Clement lost both of his legs, his right arm and, due to severe internal injuries, he is no longer able to have children. Since then, Sergeant Clement has made an active effort to support the charities that strove to help both himself and his family on the road to recovery.

Because this is a matter close to his heart, Sergeant Clement is committed to ensuring that if another soldier were to find themselves in the same position, they would have a strong web of support behind them to rely on. Holding regular events and fund-raising enterprises, all of Sergeant Clement’s efforts can be followed on his official website, entitled ‘A Soldiers Journey ’. Frequently updated, supporters of his cause can therefore continually track his progress, make appropriate donations, as well as lend assistance in any way that they can.

One of these upcoming events is the Charity Dinner and Auction that is set to be hosted at Blackpool Football Club on November 23rd. The evening is set to impress due to the plethora of entertainment that has been planned, as well as the presence of a number of celebrity guests. Attendees can expect first class treatment and premier service as they gather together in order to raise money for this worthy cause.

Here at Banks Lyon, we take great pride in giving back to those communities that are sorely in need of our support. During the November event, Sergeant Clement will be raising money for a number of charities. One of these charities is The Soldiers’ Charity. The Soldiers’ Charity is an organisation that Banks Lyon has committed to sponsoring in the past, and we are keenly interested in encouraging future donations.

A Soldiers Journey is a worthwhile and highly valuable cause to take an interest in. Tickets for the November event are available now on A Soldiers Journey website, and we wish Sergeant Clement every success in all of his future undertakings.
