We’ve had brief cause to mention Chopard’s Happy Diamonds range already this month, as, given the fact that the diamond is the birthstone for April, we could think of no better-suited topic to talk about. However, in light of the fact that Chopard have also undertaken a brand new campaign to promote their Happy Diamonds collection, we thought that an encore for this assemblage was entirely merited. After all, as one of Chopard’s most popular families, there’s always more to say!
If you’ve yet to come across ‘Happy Diamonds’ before, the magic of the creations is clearly achieved by the inclusion of motion. Although the diamonds in the pieces are in no danger of becoming detached, they are not secured by a mooring, so within the confines of their casing they are able to dance, roll, move and otherwise tumble freely within their surroundings. Showcasing that is very much the focus of the latest campaign, as you’ll doubtless see by viewing the video below this text!
Chopard recruited renowned photographers Luigi & Lango to shoot this set piece, and the vibrancy and energy of the Happy Diamonds range is clearly conveyed as the subjects of this short movie leap, jump, and generally enjoy spending time in the company of their friends. The stones within each Happy Diamonds piece are always arrayed alongside numerous other gems – rather like a group of close friends – so the analogy is a very sound one, and happens to be a lot of fun, too!
Choreographed by Marion Motin, with music composed by Etienne de Crécy and directed by Justin Wu, this film really gets across the vigour and almost magnetic attraction of the Happy Diamonds family, but the true appeal of this range is the prolific nature of the available designs. For example, Happy Diamonds can be enjoyed within wristwatches – where they are allowed to scuttle without impediment across the face of the dials – but also within the confines of more typical jewellery.
You’ll find that Happy Diamonds can be worn on the fingers within a ring, held inside a necklace and encased in the delicate form of earrings, so however you wish to enjoy them, there’s always a suitable way to do so. Such variety also opens up the possibility of some memorable combinations; after all, why restrict yourself to just one item of jewellery? Such glamour and radiance warrants multiple pieces, and, given the myriad styles you can settle upon, that really couldn’t be easier.
There’s something undeniably sensuous and subtle about arraying diamonds alongside clean white gold or silver, but that’s not to say that yellow or red gold doesn’t have a valuable place; if you’re looking to make a statement, you couldn’t do much better! Both aesthetics can be viewed on our Chopard Happy Diamonds page, and that’s to say nothing on the subject of Chopard watches.
You can find some very fine examples of this diamond craft on both our Chopard Happy Diamond watches page, and also our Chopard Happy Sport page, and if there’s a wristwatch style that hasn’t been covered by those two esteemed assemblages, we’re struggling to think of it!
