Baselworld is one of the most important showcase events for designers and purchasers alike, exhibiting all the biggest brand’s timepiece and jewellery collections.
The event is organised each spring in Basel, Switzerland, with over 1,500 businesses travelling to show what they have to offer. It’s like the CES of the jewellery world, with some people coming to show off their newest creations and innovations. The 8 day event is held at the Messe Basel exhibition centre and commences on March 17th, running from 9am until 6pm. It has officially partnered with big names like Maserati and Swiss International Airlines, as well as BBC World News and FedEx.
Visitors will get a chance to see remarkable craftsmanship and designs from reputable watchmakers like Tag Heuer and Omega as well as known fashion brands such as Gucci, Chanel and Bvlgari, as well as new models. Some brands have released exciting previews of the products that they will be bringing to Baselworld, including this Big Bang Unico Sapphire timepiece by Hublot, a watch which is cut from blocks of sapphire.
