Spotlight On: Hublot

We’re proud to be official stockists of a range of luxury watch brands here at Banks Lyon. One of these brands is Hublot, a well-known and popular industry name. Today we are delving into all the brand has to offer, providing insight into the company and its incredible range of stunning timepieces.

A Brief History of Hublot

Hublot is a Swiss luxury watch brand founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco. The brand made waves in the watch industry by introducing the world’s first luxury sports watch with a natural rubber strap. The unique combination of rubber and gold brought a fresh, modern aesthetic to the luxury watch world, and Hublot quickly gained a reputation for innovation and bold design.

In 2004, the brand was acquired by luxury goods conglomerate LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), which provided the brand with a greater global reach and resources for further development. In the following years, Hublot continued to push the boundaries of watchmaking with new materials and technologies, including ceramics, carbon fibre, and sapphire crystals.

Under the leadership of CEO Jean-Claude Biver, Hublot became known for its high-profile collaborations and sponsorships with a range of celebrities and sports teams. The brand also expanded its collections with new models, including the Big Bang, Classic Fusion, and King Power lines.

Here at Banks Lyon, we’re proud to offer Hublot watches. The brand is recognised as one of the most innovative and daring brands in the luxury watch industry, with a strong focus on both design and engineering. As a result, the brand’s watches are highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts. Hublot continues to explore new materials and techniques to create aesthetically striking and technically impressive timepieces.

What Makes Hublot So Special?

Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Red Magic Limited EditionHublot is a special brand in the luxury watch industry for several reasons:

  • Precision engineering. Hublot watches are engineered to the highest standards of precision and accuracy. The brand has invested heavily in research and development to create proprietary movements and complications unique to Hublot watches.
  • Limited editions. Hublot produces a range of limited-edition watches each year featuring unique materials, designs, and compilations.
