The Latest Addition to the Omega Speedmaster Range

The Omega Broad Arrow, part of the Omega Speedmaster line, has received a modern update. Featuring a larger 44mm case, updated movement and new look, the Omega Broad Arrow Co-Axial watch brings the Speedmaster line right up to date.

Omega Broad Arrow 1957 Co- Axial Chronograph Watch

The Omega Co-Axial Calibre 3313 movement features a column wheel chronograph mechanism, making the timepiece not only robust but also highly accurate. It also allows the wearer to change the hour hand independently of the second and minute hands, particularly useful for those who travel frequently. The watch also features a date function at the 4:30 marker and a transparent case back to allow for viewing of the movement.

The intricacies and details of the Omega Broad Arrow Co-Axial consist of some of the timepiece’s best features. The dial has a subtle Geneva Wave pattern, an unusual and distinctive touch, and features the broad minute and arrow-shaped hour hands that give the watch its name. It also features a 30 minute counter sub-dial at 3 o’clock, a 12 hour counter at 6 o’clock and a second hand sub-dial at 9 o’clock. These sub-dials have a unique honeycomb pattern which contrast well with the simpler aesthetics of the rest of the dial.

The Omega Broad Arrow Co-Axial also features hour and minute hands applied with Super-LumiNova, and is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating applied to both sides, adding to the legibility of the timepiece. Benefiting from this update, the Omega Broad Arrow range will surely prove to be as popular in years to come as it is today.
