As a ladies’ watch, it is among the first models to have the METAS certification as a master chronometer. Powered by the new calibre 8801, which is exhibited through the sapphire crystal caseback. Finally, it is the very first Planet Ocean model to use Sedna Gold — OMEGA’s patented scratch-resistant rose gold alloy. Both the dial and the bezel are made from chocolate brown ceramic, using Ceragold for the details on the dial— developed by Omega allowing the decoration of ceramic parts with 18ct gold.
