The news that David Beckham is to become the next ambassador for Breitling spurred many a debate in the office this week; not just because of his dashing good looks and the dreams of a new ‘poster boy’ for the office… but because his appointment has caused something of a stir between watch aficionados the world over.
International sports celebrity, Olympic Ambassador, style icon… need I go on! David Beckham, is the new face of the Breitling Transocean Chronograph Unitime watch; a move that establishes a long term contract between the football star and the Swiss watch brand. The partnership includes a new advertisement with Beckham pictured on the runway of the Mojave Air & Space Port in California. The image, taken by American photographer Anthony Mandler, shows the footballer standing in front of a private jet wearing his Transocean Chronograph Unitime.

The Transocean Chronograph Unitime is equipped with the new Manufacture Breitling Caliber B05 and provides permanent readings of the time in all 24 timezones through its crown-operated correction system.
