Skyfall is a huge box office smash but what about Bond’s style? Introducing the second Omega watch, the Aqua Terra Blue, to be worn by the British Secret Agent in 2012’s biggest blockbuster!

With James Bond being such a famous special agent it is no wonder that men everywhere are hankering for a bit of the ‘Bond style’ and no less, his impressive collection of Omega watches!

In Skyfall alone the suave British secret agent sported no less than two of the Swiss brands timepieces making this their seventh appearance in Bond films; a partnership that started in 1995 with Pierce Brosnan in Golden Eye.

Earlier this year we had the release of the ‘Skyfall’ Planet Ocean which has proved to be an overwhelming success for the brand and now it is the turn of the second watch in the film, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Blue Dial.

Joining a distinguished family of watches, the Aqua Terra is set to spark real interest and not just for its connection with Bond…James Bond. This watch is stylish and understated in design and would compliment any look whether smart and sophisticated board room, or relaxed in jeans.

The 38.5mm stainless steel case features a polished bezel and domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that has been treated on both sides with anti-reflective coating. The watch is complimented with a stainless steel brushed Omega patented screw-and-pin bracelet and features an open case back that gives a perfect view of the Co-Axial mechanical movement that powers the watch.

As with all in the Aqua Terra collection the dial is characterised by the vertical lines that recall the wooden

decks of exclusive sailing boats. Its applied 18ct white gold indexes with Super-LumiNova coating match the central hour, minute and seconds hands, which have diamond-polished sides and white Super Lumi-Nova for easy reading in all light conditions. This officially certified chronometer also features a date window at 3pm.

Powered by the Omega Co-Axial calibre 8500, a movement that has essentially re-defined modern watch making, this watch is both stunning in aesthetics and engineering. It features an escapement with three levels and includes Omega’s exclusive Si14 balance spring on Omega’s free spring-balance system. The time zone function makes it possible to adjust the hour hand by itself without affecting the minute and seconds hand, a feature that caters to the traveller who frequently changes time zones.

To back up the reliability and precision of this time piece Omega offer this with a four year warranty. The Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Blue Dial is also water resistant up to 15 bar / 150 metres / 500 feet.
